Fix and Foxi, the clever foxes, have been an integral part of the German comic landscape for generations. Their stories, drawn by Rolf Kauka and his staff, have delighted millions of readers since 1953 and shaped the childhoods of countless people.
The story of Fix & Foxi began in 1953, when the two first appeared in issue 6 of the comic book Till Eulenspiegel. They soon became so popular that they got their own magazine in 1953.
In the decades that followed, Fix & Foxi took readers' hearts by storm. Their stories were full of humor, excitement and action, and the lovable characters quickly became friends of the readers. With their funny adventures, their wit and their positive attitude to life, Fix & Foxi reflected the spirit of the times and became a symbol of optimism and joie de vivre. The comics offered readers not only entertainment, but also moral values and life wisdom.

Rolf Kauka publishes the first edition of Till Eulenspiegel. In issue 5 (1953), the mythical figure Reynard the Fox (Reineke Fuchs) appears for the first and only time, the progenitor of Fix&Foxi, so to speak. In issue 6 (1953), Fix&Foxi, at that time still without a name and kept in a realistic way, make their first appearance. A legend begins.

1971
After an ongoing adjustment of the drawing style, Fix&Foxi received their current appearance, drawn by Walter Neugebauer. The natural style of the early years gave way to a stylization in the funny and cartoon style, which also creates a higher recognition value through a certain simplification of the drawing.

Your Family Entertainment AG is launching the pay TV channel Fix & Foxi, which is broadcast internationally. Fix&Foxi is available in numerous languages all over the world, and with its high-quality programming the channel won the “Eutelsat Award” in Milan in the children’s category on November 25, 2016.
